Coffee, Cake, ‘n’ Craft – Microwave Glass Fusing & Fimo Jewellery in New Romney, Kent
Description
Enjoy a relaxed and creative session exploring two enjoyable techniques for making your own jewellery—microwave glass fusing and Fimo clay design. Perfect for beginners or anyone curious about handmade crafts, this workshop offers the chance to play with colour, shape, and texture while creating original pieces to wear or share as gifts. Using a microwave kiln, you’ll learn how to fuse small pieces of glass into glossy, vibrant designs suitable for pendants or earrings. Alongside this, you’ll work with Fimo polymer clay—blending, shaping, and decorating to create jewellery pieces with their own character and style. The two techniques complement one another, giving you a variety of options to explore. This is a friendly, hands-on session with plenty of time to try out ideas, experiment with materials, and enjoy conversation in a relaxed setting. No previous experience is needed—just an interest in creativity and a willingness to have a go.

Unlimited tea or coffee is available throughout the session, along with a generous slice of cake to enjoy as you create.
