Description
A one-day introduction to bowl carving to carve your own small bowl. Participant will use hand tools: axes, adzes, gauges, and knives - to carve this small wood out of green wood. We’ll focus on the safe and effective use of tools so that you can create your very own bowl, learning how to shape both the inside and outside of the bowl. We’ll also talk about materials, discuss best drying techniques and best finishes for your dry bowl. All tools and materials are provided. This workshop can be quite energetic and most of it is done standing up.
What's included in the price?
You'll arrive on site by 10am, and be directed to the workshop. From there, one of our experienced trainers will lead you through the workshop. All wood and tools are provided. The day will finish by 4pm. Please bring food and drink for the day - you are welcome to cook over our campfire. We provide tea and coffee.

No - we supply all the tools you'll need for the courses.
We have two composting toilets on our site. They work just the same are regular toilets, just with a scoop full of sawdust down the loo, instead of a flush. There is a separate urinal, too.
