Elephant Carving Workshop – Saturday 7th June, 10am–4pm | £85 The Galleria, 96c High St, Burton Latimer, Kettering NN15 5RH Join Jayne of JAK’sArt for a full-day creative adventure, sculpting your very own elephant from aerated concrete – a wonderfully soft, stone-like material that’s surprisingly satisfying to carve. With guidance, good company, and plenty of tea, you’ll shape a characterful elephant that reflects your personality – whether wise, whimsical, or a bit wonky (like the best of us). Elephants symbolise wisdom, memory, and quiet strength, and this workshop offers a grounding, mindful experience to match – complete with gentle encouragement, subtle humour, and the joyful camaraderie of shared creativity. What’s included: All tools, materials, and PPE (dust masks, goggles, gloves, aprons) Jayne’s bespoke, friendly tuition Refreshments throughout the day. Bring your own lunch. One proudly handmade elephant sculpture to take home Health & Safety: All equipment is provided and appropriate PPE must be worn while carving. The activity involves dusty so please wear appropriate clothing and closed toe shoes. Who’s it for? Adults aged 18+.
