Whether you’re a complete novice looking to open up you’re creative wings or already a practicing artist looking to indulge in something fresh and new; these abstract paintings classes will have you covered. (and covered in paint) The upcoming courses with Jack Few will offer a comprehensive exploration of contemporary abstract painting, beginning with a brief history of abstraction to ground participants in its significance. Essential mark-making techniques will be emphasised, alongside composition strategies that help create that sought-after ‘finished’ look. Participants will delve into colour theory, discover various painting applications and tools, and explore the intersection of creative psychology with their artistic practices. The workshops will encourage creating fluidly, highlighting the importance of music in the creative process, and promoting play and self-expression. Techniques for removing mental blocks that hinder creativity will be shared, along with various painting methods that participants can take home to continue their artistic journey. Each session includes a Q&A, and attendees will have the opportunity to learn about membership options and private tuition for ongoing support.

What's included in the price?

Group classes will last 4.5 hours, and includes a medium canvas, acrylic paints, and brushes. Discounts are available for family groups. Tea, Coffee, snacks provided.

Even better! There is no set experience to join one of my courses and this is an open workshop of all abilities, the most important thing is that you come with an open mind.

There is no parking at the studio unfortunately, however i can recommend nearby parking sites and free street parking within walking distance.

Yes, even if your an intermediate or paint as a hobby in your spare timer, there are extra levels of insight and further techniques that I can advice to take you to that next level of your painting experience and to really open up your abstract painting ability.
