925 Lapis Lazuli in Puffy Diamond Earrings Design Unique, Handcrafted earrings designed and created to take you from Day Wear to Date Night. Length 3.7 cm Width 2.0 cm Depth 0.4 cm All measurements approximate Deep blue with hues of gold. Ancient Egyptians believed Lapis Lazuli offered the path to their Gods and literally grounded the perfect blue to paint powder (sometimes known as ultramarine) as it is believed Michelangelo used Lapis Lazuli in his amazing paint works and was also used on the sarcophagus of Tutankhamen, as it was/is a highly respected crystal with a history dating back 6,500 years to the people of Mesopotamia.
