Description

Our 8-week 3-D sculpture course gives you the opportunity to learn the skills and how to use the tools to produce a sculpture of your choice. You’ll work at your own pace, alongside other people who share your interest in carving, and with an experienced tutor for technical and creative support. These sessions will be entirely practical, working at the banker with guidance from your tutor. Everyone will work at their own pace, so you’re welcome to continue carving between sessions or just within the sessions themselves.

What's included in the price?

If you have an idea of what sculpture you’d like to create, then bring along a few sketches of it (ideally from different angles, as it will be a 3D carving!) to discuss with your tutor. Stone is not included: you’re welcome to bring your own stone, or buy a piece from Burngate that is the right size and type for your project. Tools and safety equipment will be provided. Please wear old clothes and stout shoes or boots. The course fee includes complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits.
